The Socotra Archipelago in the Indian Ocean, off the coast of Somalia, is the place where the Dragon Blood tree grows. For a number of reasons, the Dragon Blood tree is unusual. Its trunk is bare but its branches generally remain at the top and ending in sharp spiky leaves. The Dragon Blood tree is belonging to the monocotyledons. The dicotyledons and the Dragon Blood trees are from the same category. The tree also reveals an unusual interior and exterior both from where once pierced bright red sap oozes out. Those bright red saps are called the blood of the Dragon Blood tree which is dried and then it is used as a medicine or a dye. While the neighbors of Socotra still use it as a panacea, the sap is mostly used as a red varnish for violins in west.

Dryococelus Australis, commonly known as the Lord Howe Island stick insect, is a species of stick insect which lives on the Lord Howe Island Group between Australia and New Zealand. It is a large, flightless stick insect that was, until recently, thought to be extinct by 1930 but it is found again in 2001. It has been called "the rarest insect in the world", as the rediscovered population consisted of 24 individuals living on the small islet of Ball’s Pyramid. It has a glossy brownish-black exoskeleton with some pale yellow markings where joints and body segments meet.   Baha California is the home of the Boojum tree. At a first sight we resembles it as a cactus more than a tree. As the inner wood of the tree is remarkably soft and they grow up to 20m high, the thin trunks of the tree can grow in sinuous shapes. It is the ancient plant of Baha California desert. The Four Winged Robot has been invented by American scientist Leif Ristroph and his colleague at New York University. This four winged robot has been designed by utilizing the concept of Jellyfish. Jellyfish moves in ocean pushing downward in the water similarly the four winged robot will move in the air.
