Extreme Facial Tumor Covers the Whole Face of Joseph

Joseph is one of the most extreme facial tumors ever seen in medical history as reported by 100toplist . The 51-year-old, from Portugal, is in danger of being suffocated by it, unless it undergoes radical surgery.
Unemployed, he is blind in one eye as a result of the giant weeping growth that has consumed his features, the tumor has taken over his mouth and his tongue, balloon lips, twisting his gums and breaking his teeth off. The deep, 15cm long growth – which started as a birth mark when he was just 11 – was sparked by abnormalities in his capillaries and veins. It started to get much bigger when he hit 16 and has expanded since. He recently flew to the UK to discuss the possibility of surgery to remove part of the tumor. But because his mother was a Jehovah’s Witness, he refused any surgery because his religion means he can not receive blood transfusions. Doctors in London came up with a plan to remove parts of the growth bit by bit – without transfusion.

GAUHATI HIGH COURT DECLARES CBI ILLEGAL

Gauhati High Court declares India’s premier investigation agency, the Central Bureau of Investigation(C.B.I), as unconstitutional on 6th November, 2013.  But honorable Supreme Court stays the order on Gauhati High Court’s declaration of entitling C.B.I as unconstitutional on Saturday which gave some relief to the CBI & Central Government both. UPA Govt. has already filed a case challenging GC's declaration. C.B.I was created by a home ministry resolution on 1st April, 1963 and it functions under Delhi Special Police Establishment Act (DSPE) 1946.   “The judgment is patently wrong. It should be set aside. We are certainly going to challenge it and the appeal is likely to be filled in the SC” said additional solicitor general PP Malhotra (source-HINDUSTAN TIME).
