GAUHATI HIGH COURT DECLARES CBI ILLEGAL

Gauhati High Court declares India’s premier investigation agency, the Central Bureau of Investigation(C.B.I), as unconstitutional on 6th November, 2013.  But honorable Supreme Court stays the order on Gauhati High Court’s declaration of entitling C.B.I as unconstitutional on Saturday which gave some relief to the CBI & Central Government both. UPA Govt. has already filed a case challenging GC's declaration. C.B.I was created by a home ministry resolution on 1st April, 1963 and it functions under Delhi Special Police Establishment Act (DSPE) 1946.   “The judgment is patently wrong. It should be set aside. We are certainly going to challenge it and the appeal is likely to be filled in the SC” said additional solicitor general PP Malhotra (source-HINDUSTAN TIME). The petition was filed by Attorney General Golam E Vahanvati on behalf of the Govt. of India seeking urgent hearing over the petition. Subhas Chandra Bose was one of the great dynamic freedom fighter of India. His impact in India to make the country liberate, federal and republic was immense. He was the first freedom fighter who started a mass revolution to give liberation to India from the bondage of British ruler. Subhas was born on 23rd of January, 1897 at Cuttack district in Orissa. His father’s name was Janakinath Bose who was a great lawyer of Cuttack High court. His mother name was Prabhavati Devi. Janakinath was awarded with the title of “Rai Bahadur” for his brilliant work . He started his early education from village pathshala. Subhas completed B.A from Presidency college in 1918.
